Privacy Policy & Terms of Use
Grid - Habit Tracker ("Grid", "we", "our", or "us") is developed by Wes Thomson. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.
Grid stores your habit data locally on your device. We do not collect personal information, we do not require an account, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone. We use anonymous, privacy-first analytics to improve the app.
Grid does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
Grid does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the app.
All habit data you create in Grid, including habit names, emojis, completion dates, streaks, and notification preferences, is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.
We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service, to collect anonymous usage data. This helps us understand how the app is used so we can make improvements.
TelemetryDeck collects:
TelemetryDeck does not collect:
All analytics data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you. TelemetryDeck is GDPR-compliant and does not use cookies or tracking pixels. For more information, see the TelemetryDeck Privacy Policy.
Grid may request permission to send local notifications as daily reminders for your habits. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any external server. You can disable notifications at any time through the app or your device settings.
Grid does not integrate with any advertising networks, social media SDKs, or third-party tracking services. The only third-party service used is TelemetryDeck for anonymous analytics, as described above.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any data with third parties. Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to share.
Grid does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since Grid does not collect personal information from any user, it is safe for use by people of all ages.
Your habit data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. Since data is stored only on your device and not on any external server, there is no risk of a server-side data breach.
Since Grid does not collect or store personal data on any server, traditional data rights (access, correction, deletion, portability) are managed entirely on your device. You can delete all your data at any time by deleting the app or using the "Delete All Habits" option in Settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Grid after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
By downloading, installing, or using Grid - Habit Tracker ("Grid", "the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of Grid after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
