Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Stoic Wisdoms mobile application ("App").
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Subscription Terms
Stoic Wisdoms offers auto-renewable subscription plans:
- Monthly Premium: $1.99 USD per month
- Yearly Premium: $19.99 USD per year
Both plans include a 30-day free trial for new subscribers.
Free Trial
New subscribers are eligible for a 30-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
Billing and Renewal
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase (after the free trial ends)
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Account Settings on the App Store
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.
Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Stoic Wisdoms and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Stoic quotes included in the App are in the public domain.
Disclaimer
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties regarding the App's operation or the information included therein.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stoic Wisdoms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

- Your reflection scores and streak data
- Favorite quotes
- App preferences and settings

- Apple StoreKit - For processing subscriptions
- Supabase - For storing email addresses (if provided)
Your Rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time
Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email.

When: Only if you choose to enter them during onboarding
Why: To send you weekly Stoic wisdom and app updates
Your Control: You can skip this step entirely
Subscription Data
Handled by: Apple (via StoreKit)
What we see: Only whether you have an active subscription
What we DON'T see: Your payment method or Apple ID
Local Device Data
This data never leaves your device:
- Your daily streak count
- Reflection scores
- Favorite quotes
- App settings
Deleting Your Data
Local data: Delete the app to remove all local data
Server data: Contact us and we'll delete your information within 48 hours
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the 30-day free trial work?
You get full access for 30 days free. You won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime in Settings → Subscriptions.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Stoic Wisdoms → Cancel Subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com
How do I restore my purchase?
Open the app, go to the subscription screen, and tap "Restore Purchases".
How many quotes are included?
249 authentic quotes from 13 Stoic philosophers.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes! All quotes are stored in the app.
